We ate here on our first night in Seoul. It was raining so we looked for a noodle place around Myeongdong. I didn’t think I’d like it that much because I didn’t think I’d love any other noodle dish like how I love ramen but this wasn’t so bad! They are a definitely Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant for a reason.

MENU. Their menu included a little history of their restaurant.
We’re not heavy eaters and the serving was quite big so we ordered:
One (1) chopped noodles (KRW 9,000 or ~PHP 389)
One (1) dumpling (KRW 10,000 or ~PHP 432)

We didn’t order drinks anymore because they provided us with free water.

INTERIOR. The place was quite packed when we arrived and there were even some groups who had to wait for a little bit to be seated.

They are more of a self-service type of restaurant. We got our utensils from a little drawer in our table and there were already glasses and pitchers of water per table as well.

FOOD. The chopped noodles were surprisingly good and the dumpling tasted nice as well. I would definitely recommend you to try both dishes if you’re dining here. Everything was tasty and I love the texture of the noodles. They also gave out free kimchi which I love. I don’t usually like kimchi but their kimchi had a distinct taste that made me eat it despite it being spicy.

TOTAL BILL. We paid KRW 19,000 (PHP 820) in total and for a Michellin Star Restaurant, I think it’s very worth it! If you’re heavy eaters, you could easily finish one bowl of the Chopped Noodles and share one serving of the dumpling but your bill would still just total to around KRW 28,000 (PHP 1,200) for two people. So worth it!

Would I recommend this place? Yes, definitely. It’s a Michelin Star restaurant for a reason and although the service was just okay (because it’s mainly a self-service restaurant), I’d still eat here for the food. It’s also a very affordable place to eat in Myeongdong. Definitely a must try when in Seoul!
