Muggle Diaries

June 17, 2016

I can still remember the first time I saw a Harry Potter movie. I was left with a lot of questions after. LOL. My best friend was a huge Harry Potter fan and she read all the books while I just waited for the movie. But I loved how much I can relate to Harry, Hermione and Ron because I felt like I grew up with them. I felt like I was 12 when they were also 12 so I kinda wanted to be like them in some ways. I mean, who doesn’t want to be a wizard?

I still haven’t read a single chapter of the Harry Potter books but I have seen all the movies, more than once. I especially loved the Goblet of Fire movie because it was just fun and exciting but sad all at the same time. So when I knew that we were going to London, I told my boyfriend that we should definitely go to the Warner Bros. Studios no matter how far the commute was. lol I pre-booked our tickets online a week before our date of visit. I suggest you do the same especially if you’re coming in the summer because the available times and dates were already very limited when we booked our tickets.dsc00751-copy Continue reading

Coldplay at Wembley

Whenever I ask my boyfriend what’s the highlight of our Europe Trip, he would always say that it was the Coldplay concert. My boyfriend is Coldplay’s #1 fan so when I found out that they were going to have a concert on one of the days that we’ll be in London, I was so excited for him! We bought resell tickets from Get Me In and had it delivered to our friend’s house in London.

Windsor-Bath-Stonehenge

June 15, 2016

On our first full day in England, I booked a Windsor-Bath-Stonehenge tour from Premium Tours. I knew that we will still be experiencing jetlag and this tour will involve hours of bus rides so at least we can sleep while on the way. The tour was a little bit pricey but it was worth it because we got to see the three major attractions outside London in one day and it was really convenient to not have to fall in line to buy tickets to the attractions. England has a very unpredictable weather and that was one intel that I didn’t know before going there. lol It can rain in one second and be all sunny on the next. I felt like all seasons happened on the day of our tour. lol

We were picked up by a double decker bus at the Victoria Coach Station at 8:15am. We ate breakfast and had to finish our coffee before boarding the bus because hot drinks were not allowed inside the bus. Alcohol and ice cream were also not allowed inside.

Our tour started in sunny Windsor. Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. I could not believe that I was at the weekend residence of the queen. I literally went to London to visit the queen…’s residence 😉
